These comps features Portland voted bands by other musicians. I smell favoritism. Actually it’s a pretty legit system set up and bands even tie for placement sometimes. I do enjoy discovering one or two bands on the entire 2 disc comp that capture my attention, but usually the majority is mediocre. However, the concept is great, bringing bands together and not charging admission for kids and adults to enjoy a summer afternoon. But remember FREE music is always free for a reason.
